Moonlight rainbow and northern lights in the sky over Sweden
A group of photographers from Sweden captured the moon rainbow and the northern lights in one shot. Unusual frame posted to the group on Facebook.
The photo was taken in the sky over the rural settlement of Abiska. According to eyewitnesses, to photograph both of these phenomena at the same time is truly “exclusive” and “unbelievable.”
“It was a truly unique experience, given that I’ve been photographing the northern lights every winter for the last ten years,” Chad Blakely told reporters on Lonely Planet.
Lunar rainbow – a rare occurrence. It is visible at the phase close to the full moon. In this case, the natural satellite of the Earth should be at a relatively small height. In addition, high humidity is necessary for the formation of a lunar rainbow.
