Canadian city Calgary snowed down
Heavy snowfall on the night of Tuesday, October 2, hit the city of Calgary in the Canadian province of Alberta. All the snow removal equipment was brought to the streets.
As of the morning of October 2, a record 15-25 cm of snow fell in the city. The previous record for this day was set in 1954 and was only about 5 cm of snow.
However, the record figure for one day in October is about 30 cm and was recorded in 1914.
According to the Calgary police, at least 168 accidents occurred on slippery roads in the city, resulting in 14 injuries. Paralyzed public transport.
